How data is handled

The controller for data processing on this website is Jan Wagner, W-MAKE.

When you use the contact form, your name, email address and the message text are processed. You may optionally add a company and a starting point.

The purpose is to handle and reply to your inquiry and to prepare a possible engagement. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures), supplemented by Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in handling inquiries properly).

The data is stored in a SQLite file on the server and additionally forwarded by email to eldov@w-make.de. It is deleted once the matter is closed, after six months at the latest.

The hosting provider’s server logs may store the IP address, request time and the path requested. The logs serve incident response and operational security, not the analysis of your behaviour.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The legitimate interest is the stable and secure operation of the website.

Server logs are processed by the hosting provider; the retention period follows the provider’s policy.

This website uses no cookies, no tracking, no analytics or audience measurement and no advertising networks. No profiling takes place.

The website is operated with an external hosting provider who may process personal data as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR).

There is no sharing with advertising networks or other third parties.

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing (Art. 21).

To request access, correction or deletion of your inquiry, write to eldov@w-make.de. Please include the email address you used and the approximate time.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority depends on the controller’s registered office.
